Vino&Cucina is a restaurant designed in 2015 by YoDezeen, covers an area of 540.00 sq.m. and is located in Kiev Ukraine.

“Here our objective was to refine the space of the restaurant terrace and develop an outstanding design. The structure of the canopy consists of wood horizontal closure strips. The illuminated concrete pool around pinetrees has a wooden impress on its internal side. The sitting area is furnished with rattan and wooden furniture as well as sofas with with exposed wood frames. Tabletops are made of concrete and brushed wood. As decorative elements we see mesh reinforcement where are placed crocks with climbing ivy and cordwood. Underground industrial style bar counter consists of concrete tabletop fixed on mesh reinforcement filled with cordwood. It is illuminated with Edison bulbs with three litre jar as a lamp shade. An excellent lighting solution has been achieved through use of different lighting fixtures like Light Belts and standard pendant luminaires. Sober color palette with shades of green, grey and brown creates an atmosphere of a country estate in the very heart of metropolis.
A huge bottle made of small wooden bars is the main decorative element of the terrace. Italians has inspired us to creation of this item. Centuries ago they covered bottles made of thing glass with straw wicker basket base that is called “fiasco””.
