In The Trees project was designed by Mood Works-Karina Snuszka & Dorota Kuć for demanding young couple, willing to have a statement home full of finest furniture, highly selected artworks, yet comfortable, warm and cosy for a family of four.
The building itself is a replica of a 19th century house originally designed by Swiss architect. The design was purchased by the Investor, who is a frequent traveller and was enchanted by the style of Swiss residential architecture of 19th century.
The house is located in the historical district of a pre-war resort of Konstancin-Jeziorna, therefore main goal of the designers was to embed the design in this historical framework but make it contemporary inside as well.
The interior design scheme was based on a dark colour palette, which is a perfect framework for colorful accents like rich textured fabrics, prints and themes of abstract artworks by acclaimed Polish painters.
The home is a showcase for both fine Italian furniture manufacturers but also for talented Polish carpenters and craftsmen, who manufactured many custom-made items like: kitchen cabinets, stairway railing, etc.
Designers goal was to create a traditional suburban family residence, where splendid natural surrounding is counterweighted by fabulous interiors. A place that can be a home for many generations to come, a home of timeless elegance, a true heritage.
