San Carlos Mid-Century is a project designed by Klopf Architecture in 2016 and is located in San Carlos, CA. Photography by Mariko Reed.

The house had been closed in by a reclusive previous owner, and turned into a dark and maze-like shadow of its former self. The new owners saw the potential in the home, purchased it, and hired Klopf Architecture to help them realize the potential. Today it is an open, light and bright, indoor-outdoor, clean and simple, modernist home.
