Anuva by Dinamita Taller
Anuva is an interior architecture project designed by Dinamita Taller within a residential complex, where the primary challenge was to enhance the layout of a standard apartment. The original design combined the living room and dining room into one open space, which, while functional, compromised the spatial quality and aesthetic appeal of both areas. Our goal was to separate these functions, creating distinct zones that would feel more spacious and comfortable. Photography by Bruno Rezza.
ENSO HOUSE by S+PS Architects
ENSO HOUSE is a project designed by S+PS Architects. “A lot was happening in 2020 when we were appointed to design a penthouse on the 50th and 51st floor, with a terrace and pool on the 52nd floor. There was a need to feel a sense of freedom in an otherwise restrictive situation that the world had come to during COVID-19. One wanted to sense the free air and the ground simultaneously. Having a private pool with a terrace with the open sky above was a boon, but one missed the tree tops, but luckily the borrowed landscape of the Aarey Colony helped soothe the eyes. The clients came with memories from their long stay of 15 years in Chicago but there was also the palpable excitement of getting their bespoke home “custom” designed for the first time. How does one begin to pull together all these disparate thoughts and feelings into crafting a new home?” Photography by PHXINDIA.

The Rumpus by Elaine Richardson Architect
The Rumpus by Elaine Richardson Architect. This beautiful old house on Sydney’s north shore was already renovated. It was a big family home, with a big pool, a big kitchen and a long deck, but because the rear living areas were faced South the rooms felt dark. Photography by Michael Lassman Photography.
Oberon, Hawthorn East by Alexandra Buchanan Architecture
Hawthorn East designed by Alexandra Buchanan Architecture is home to many beautiful examples of Victorian era cottages and terraces. The typology proliferates the suburb and manifests a delightful and nostalgic neighbourhood character. However beautiful they are from the street, many of these houses are no longer suited to the lifestyles and living situations of modern Australians.
