Fairways by ARRCC

Exchanging big-city living for a more serene lifestyle, a young family opted for the private golf estate of Pearl Valley as its new home. On the outskirts of Paarl – a 30-minute drive from Cape Town – this home affords the couple and their children a style of living where the outdoor environment is a continual reminder of their expansive surrounds. “Tucked away in a leafy suburb in Cape Town stands a statement-making home – not only for the modern, glass-fronted architecture but more so for it’s vibrant interiors. For local design studio ARRCC, who executed the project, it was the homeowner’s affinity for colour – and a multitude of materials – that informed the creative journey. ‘By working with the homeowner’s wide and varied art collection we were able to create spaces that allow for a dynamic dialogue between the artworks and furnishings,’ says ARRCC director Mark Rielly. Tidal View by ARRCC

Perched just above the blue expanse of the Atlantic Ocean in Clifton, Cape Town, this opulent yet timelessly elegant two-level ground floor apartment boasts a perfect balance between luxury and comfort. The total redesign in terms of interior architecture together with the décor furnishings, it embodies and reflects the clients love of travel in an understated and individual way. ARRCC worked with a neutral colour palette throughout the generous double volume space, allowing the majestic blue of the ocean and the sky to be the only colours that pour in through the glass expanse.

Benguela Cove by ARRCC

Benguela is a residences completed by ARRCC in collaboration with SAOTA. Nature pervades the house –the seamless flow of internal floors and ceilings out into external living spaces is mirrored by the fynbos planting which stalks the edges of the internal envelope, enfolds the terraces and decks and seeps into the garden courtyard.

Vue d’Eiffel by ARRCC

This three bedroom apartment is situated on the fourth floor, overlooking the North Bank of the River Seine in the quiet 16th Arrondissement of Paris. The designers were challenged to balance bespoke contemporary style with classic French flair. The Eiffel Tower just across the river informed the design; ARRCC drew on its unique and recognisable aesthic to inspire individual elements whilst its strikingly close presence guided the internal remodel.
