Beiriz House is a project designed by Raulino Silva. The allotment of Violantas was designed along a street with lots on both sides and is located in the parish of Beiriz. The surrounding area has fields for cultivating corn and grass, but to the west in the distance you can already see the “towers” of the city, in Póvoa de Varzim. Photography by João Morgado.

Areia House designed by Raulino Silva is located in Árvore, in an urban allotment very close to the beach of Areia, Vila do Conde. The urban allotment’s license allows the construction of a basement and two floors for a single-family housing, and also an annex for car parking. Photography by João Morgado

The single-family housing designed by Raulino Silva is located in Galegos de Santa Maria, Barcelos, a plot terrain with circa 4000 sqm. The building was implemented near of the corner of 1º Dezembro Street and Trás da Fonte Street, allowing the construction of another house on the remaining ground to the North. Aguçadoura House is a project designed by Raulino Silva and is located in a small allotment in a bathing village with the same name in the north of Portugal. Taking advantage of the unique climatic conditions and soil quality the surroundings are also known for having many greenhouses used for growing vegetables.
The small property, with an accentuated slope on the topography, is located in the main street of Touguinha, a small village in the north of Portugal. On site, there are houses on both sides of the plot terrain, an old stone wall at the back and, at the front, there are some crop fields with a small grove in the middle.
Vila do Conde apartment is on the 3rd floor of an 80’s building not very qualified in the design and finishing materials, which is a duplex by the use of the attic area.
